Josh Black

Owner

My name is Joshua Black, and I'm the founder of Quality Exteriors. I’ve always had a heart for helping others, whether that means guiding a homeowner through a complex insurance claim or giving back to kids who need a hand up. That’s what drives me every day — not just getting the job done, but making sure people feel supported and confident through the process.

Roof replacements can be stressful — especially when insurance is involved. Most people don’t deal with claims on a regular basis, so I take pride in being someone they can count on to explain things clearly, advocate on their behalf, and make sure the work gets done right. It’s about turning a frustrating situation into something positive and empowering.

Outside of roofing, I run a nonprofit called Contractors for a Cause, where we focus on helping underprivileged children get access to sports and other extracurricular activities. I believe every kid deserves the chance to be part of something bigger — just like every homeowner deserves to feel safe and secure under their roof.

We had our roof replaced following a severe hail storm. Josh made the process as easy as possible. He conducted the initial assessment, filed the paperwork to our insurance company, and educated us on the process and how to maximize the benefits offered to us from our in carrier. He is an extremely pleasant guy to work with and made sure we were happy throughout the process. He kept up with us every step of the way and even upgraded our attic solar vent at not extra cost. We had a recent hail storm with 3 inch hail and Joshua with Quality Exteriors was wonderful!!! He sat with me and helped me file the insurance claim. He took lots of pictures and sent them directly to the insurance company. He even found damaged items I didn't even think to look for!!! He met with the adjuster and got my claim processed. Joshua up graded me to a high impact resistant roof that was better than the one I had because he said that is "just what he does"!!!! Joshua was the project manager and made sure my roof was perfect!!! His crew has worked with him a long time and were very professional and courteous. The clean up was very thorough. They cleaned all the flower beds and even made sure the patio and deck were completely clean and leaf and limb free!!! Working with Joshua was like the "good ole days" where businesses cared about their reputation and doing the right thing for their customers because it was the right thing to do !!!! In this day and time, working with Quality Exteriors was like a breath of fresh air. Joshua was honest, caring, and thoughtful. He treated me like he would his mother and took all the stress off of a stressful situation. I really, really, recommend Joshua and Quality Exteriors. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I met Josh years ago and have always thought he is a fantastic person so when our roof was damaged in a recent hailstorm I only considered making one call to Josh! Josh was immediately responsive, came by the same day, walked us through the whole process, met with the insurance adjuster on our behalf, kept us updated throughout the whole process, offered a fair quote and got out to do the roof very quickly. The materials didn’t sit around in the driveway - they delivered and installed within a day. His work is high quality, he appreciates the business and he understands the process through and through. I had never been though the process before so I had tons of questions and he never once missed a message or call and never made me feel dumb for not knowing what to do. I just really am so grateful to Josh and the team for the great work they did but more than that, his kind attention to making sure I felt secure and in the know on the process.
